      RJG Antiques has been a customer of ours for years, Russ & Karen Goldberger owners of RJG Antiques use Parcel Room for shipping all of their large items and a lot of the small ones too.

We began shipping for the Goldbergers years ago at the NHADA show in Manchester NH and have continued to package and ship for them since then.

Russ and Karen Goldberger supply some of our more challenging items to have packaged and shipped, from rare double horse & carriage weather vane to huge collections of carved ducks. They never fail to bring in something interesting, other customers watch as we begin to carefully wrap and package the latest item.

In some cases the customer requires services out of the normal time frames. We can offer customized delivery solutions from delivery afterhours and weekends, to having a crew arrive and unpack the item put it in place and then remove the packaging materials aftwards.

Sorry I did not get back to you over the weekend, but the holiday rush has
started around here. We finally received the Weathervane from Fed Ex on
Friday and opened it on Saturday. It arrived safe and sound and in good
condition. It is as described, and as shown, and we are very happy with it.
As you recall I was concerned about the cost of packing and shipping. While
I'm not totally backed off from my original position, I will tell you that
the item arrived in the best packaging job I have ever seen. This is
exactly what I wanted, more or less over-done. In fact I'm saving the
custom packaging for the next time I get relocated. Just so you're aware
for your future shipments, and to explain part of my original concerns, the
outer carton (clearly labeled fragile) arrived with two work-boot foot
prints on it, so somebody used it as a step stool. And a small "pierce" on
the side which fortunately did not make it all the way through the outer
carton. So in-spite of my protests, your shipper thankfully did an
outstanding job.

Kennedy Studios & Frame Shop

    Kennedy Studios is one of our many art gallery customers. Combined with our services we can offer Kennedy's out of state customers the chance to purchase art and have it professionally framed and then packaged and shipped home safely. We work closely with the galleries and have a great system to enable them to obtain packaging and shipping prices in just few minutes. They fax a quote request to our office, we complete the pricing and fax it back.

This allows the customer to know their complete costs prior to leaving the gallery. The customer obtains the final price, and the galleries now have the final costs and can complete the sale. How many times has an item not sold because you couldn't figure out how to get it home safely?

Kennedy's has a huge selection of work from local artists, and recent renovations have given the gallery & frame shop a whole new look. Located in the heart of Portsmouth, Kennedy's is a wonderful place to shop for art or to have a piece framed.

     Over 12 years ago when we began shipping the art work of Donald Demers, we soon learned that some shipments needed far more care and attention than others. With Don's paintings being shipped to shows near and far we discovered that most of his paintings were being shipped shortly after being finished. Which presented us with new challenges on packaging procedures. We had to ensure that the paintings were completely dust free and nothing could come in contact with the surface of the painting. With gold leaf frames we needed to pay special attention to details, and protect not only the painting itself but the frame too.

    In working with Don's paintings we developed our own standards of packaging which we now apply to all of our art customers. We make custom cartons to suit each painting, we even build wooden crates when needed. When we didn't have time to package and ship the painting we carefully loaded them into our trucks and drove them to the galleries for the showing.

    When shipping electronics, careful attention must be made to reduce the vibration and bumps that the equipment is subjected to. With electronics we recommend special packaging, in most cases we double box high value electronics. The carriers require 2 - 4 inches of cushioning between electronic items and the corrugated carton.

DoveBid® Transportation & Logistics Services has created a new program for the auction industry using our 65 years of auction experience to determine the best shipping solutions for our buyers.

Our transportation & logistics department works to schedule and suggest logistics service providers for each DoveBid auction. These vendors are available to assist buyers in the removal, packaging and shipping of assets won at auction.

Our goal is to provide buyers with reliable, price competitive riggers, packers, movers and carriers. These service providers are familiar with DoveBid's checkout and removal process and can act as your eyes and ears on the warehouse floor.

 Contract with a third party to arrange for asset removal, packing, rigging, or shipping. Important: If the person picking up and removing equipment from an auction or sale location will be someone other than the registered bidder at that sale, the registered bidder must establish that person/ company as an "Authorized Agent" by completing the "Agent Release Authorization form." To obtain a price quote, contact a vendor directly. You should expect to provide them with the following information:

1. The name/ date of the auction and location of the asset(s)
2. A list of Lot numbers (or a description of the assets)
3. A ship-to address
