Steps to submitting a painting to the

Pastel Society of New Hampshire

.

1. Complete the Registration form below,  download a copy of either Word or PDF format.
( a copy is posted for you to review)
2. Obtain a return shipping quote from link below, enter data and click on submit.
3. Ship paintings to us with a copy of the registration form enclosed with payment for exhibit fee
 if you are paying us for the return shipping, you may include that amount on the same check.
4. Enjoy the exhibition, afterwards we will collect the paintings, repackage and ship them.


Please be aware, we need your registration form sent to us PRIOR to you shipping your art. It is important that we get a copy before your art arrives so we can make sure the art is sorted for the correct show.

 When shipping paintings, please include a copy of this form and your check to Parcel Room in an envelope inside your carton, we prefer if you tape to the front side of the bubblewrap around your art. Paintings may be shipped anytime after Aug 10, but must arrive by Sept 1 in order to be processed and delivered to the gallery.  All paintings should be shipped to Pastel Exhibition, 1465 Woodbury Ave, Portsmouth, NH 03801 Return shipping value is limited to $100.00, regardless of declared value. All claims are subject to the carriers’ approval of the packaging. Parcel Room is not liable for claims if damaged due to inadequate packaging when re-using your supplied materials. Parcel Room will take all possible care in unpacking, delivering, removing and repacking your art work.

Instructions for shipping to                                      Pastel Society of New Hampshire Exhibition

Paintings shipped to the Pastel Society of New Hampshire must be packaged in a sturdy,
re-usable container. Paintings should be wrapped in bubble wrap,  corrugated shipping paper, or other material designed to protect the shipped work.  If the painting is wrapped in bubble wrap for protection, use  masking or drafting tape to secure it. Use as little of the tape as possible because the bubble wrap will be used in the return shipping.


You must obtain pricing for return shipping prior to sending the paintings. 


Fees are per artist or per painting.

Handling Fee:
Include in your package a check for $ 30.00 payable to Parcel Room
Return Shipping Fee: You may obtain a rate for return shipping by several options,
          One is on line click on the FedEx logo, print the page and submit with your registration form.  Please
  include a check to cover the quoted amount. 
          Two is to complete the data on the registration form, email, fax or mail that to us and we will respond with your rate.

Please be accurate with measurements and weight, if there are discrepancies, you will be contacted for payment. The carriers measure to the ¼ inch so please be exact.



Shipping costs. This form must be included with the painting so we can match information and will be used to identify your painting, so please complete all the fields. Unless otherwise directed, your painting will be returned by UPS or FedEx Ground. No PO boxes for return addresses please. Declared value limit for art work is $100.00. If you require a signature at the time of delivery that is an additiona fee, please request it when you submit your request for an estimate.

Prepaid Return Labels: Yes,  Using your oun account is permitted, there is a processing fee of $5.00
Pick up at the show: No additional fees, but PLEASE let us know in advance if possible.

Date for shipping
Paintings may be shipped at any time after Aug 10th, 2011 but they must arrive in Portsmouth by Sept 1th, 2011 Arrivals after the cut off day will miss the truck to the show. After the show paintings should be shipped back within two weeks of the show ending.

Disclaimer Parcel Room will take all possible care in unpacking, delivering, removing, and repacking your art work. Neither Parcel Room nor any person connected to it or employees shall be held liable for any damage to the art work due to shipping, improper or inadequate packaging. Submission & shipment of the art work constitutes an agreement between all parties to the above terms.Packaging: If your is carton damaged during shipping and cannot be used to provide safe return Shipping, we will contact you and give you some prices and options.


We do recommend either use a professional packager or Strongbox reusable shipping cartons.

DON' T USE STYROFOAM  PEANUTS  ALONE TO PACK YOUR PAINTING!
